About Lucie
I am a European-trained medical beautician. I believe health, beauty and well-being are interconnected, and I love to see and sense beauty and happiness in others.
I only support products and services that don’t harm people or the environment. Through years of research I have become an expert on product ingredients, and am well aware of the unethical practices and false claims of some cosmetic
companies. Talking with hundreds of clients, I have been shocked by how many waste their money and time because of misleading information.
What I’ve seen in beauty clinics has convinced me that nature's simple, tried-and-tested treatments, and particularly organic products, are still safer and more effective than even the most sophisticated and expensive techniques.

Mission
Background
I was born in Prague (Czech Republic), and from a young age I was passionate about health and beauty. I experimented a lot and by the age of 12 was making my own beauty treatments – as you can imagine, there was often a big mess in our kitchen and bathroom.
In Germany I qualified as a medical beautician, and practised in various roles, including high-tech laser treatment, acid skin resurfacing and assisting with cosmetic surgery.
In 2005 I moved to Sydney, and in 2006 I began retailing Miessence certified organic personal care and beauty products. Here I found what I believe is the most effective and best-value beauty range available.
