Underarm odour problems
If you perspire a lot and suffer from armpit odour, here’s a tip.
Get any cosmetic clay base mask, and mix it with purified water. Apply it to your underams, and let it dry. Then wash off with lukewarm water. View the clay mask
It may seem strange, but a clay mask will draw out any toxins, and it may help remove the smell.
Antiperspirant products stop us from sweating, but the toxins do not get flushed away. Some natural deodorants work, but some are useless. It’s a matter of trial and error.
Look on the product label for:
- Bicarbonate of soda (it eliminates odours)
- Certified organic aluminium-free deodorant see here
- Avoid aluminium see here
If you stop using antiperspirant, you may find you perspire more and the odour is stronger. But once your body is detoxified, this will usually resolve.
Other things to consider:
- Is your diet balanced and healthy?
- Are your hormones stable?
- Are you drinking enough?
- Do you exercise enough?
Consult with your naturopath or doctor, if you are concerned.
